Post subject:  automatic repair during boot

Hello,

i've got one little problem with knoppmyhth.

I got an older version with kernel 2.4.25,
which is running without keyboard and mouse at the moment
(only server components)

The problem is,
that after each unclean shutdown,
fsck is run
and afterwards prompts the user to reboot the system

The problem is, because there is no monitor and no keyboard attached,
i can't see it and it is in every way undesireable.

So is there any option to tell fsck to automatically repair the system during fsck during boot ?

I googled through all the net, but could not find any answer :(

The issue isn't having fsck run automatically. When you shutdown uncleanly, fsck does run automatically. If there is an issue, you must then run fsck manually.

that is not the complete truth,
fsck runs automatically,
but afterwards prompts me to reboot manually.

And this is the problem,
fsck should only reboot the system automatically,
that would fix my problems

And there must be some option like this,
i don't think that "real" linux servers got those problems
