Hi,

I have a machine that because of limited pci slots, I need to use an isa network card. netcardconfig doesn't seem to scan for those "older" pieces of hardware. Any guidence?

Probably not as it is for an older WD, 8036 I think, however I was thinking that the netcardconfig did the discovery for the cards.

Any hints would be appreciated and I will go back to the books too, older ones

You need to find out what module the card uses that netcardconfig (after modprobe).
