Well, just got my pvr-150 mce for an early christmas present. Mind you I'm completely new to linux, and I haven't really dove much into partitioning and whatnot. I've been considering how I want to set my system up, and here's what I want to do: I'm thinking I'll have three harddrives. Now, I'm going to try to run a dual boot, with WinXP on one drive and MythTV on another. I was wondering if there was some way to make the third drive accessible to both oses? A friend of mine recommended making that third drive run a FAT filesystem. Would that work, and if so, what do you recommend to set it up. Also, I was wondering if there was a way to run other programs on MythTV that are linux based, such as gaim. I appreciate the help in advance. If you can answer either (if not both) of these questions, I'd be very thankful. |

Your friend's recommendation is probably the best. fdisk and format the drive in Windows (NOTE: THIS IS NOT A WINDOWS SUPPORT FORUM). Yes, you can. |
