Knoppmyth does have a browser, however, I would prefer to use something that is a child process to KM. That being said it seems that I need to install a browser. That way I would not have to interrupt the music player to check cnn.com or the like.

I am leaning towards firefox, which I have only used on M$ platforms. I would prefer to use a tabbed browser that is already installed on the distro, however, I did not see one. The reason being that I am concerned that introducing firefox would monkey up MythTv.

If you have experience adding a browser to the system please comment on the pros and cons of your experience. Thanks!
