Post subject:  PVR-350 TV Output is slightly cropped

I used the script here to get things going: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... sc&start=0

It seems to work, but the output on the TV seems to be cropped on the sides a little bit. Is there any way to resolve this? I'm using R5Beta7.

The recordings are fine when viewed through a PC, it's just the PC output that's slightly cropped (video, desktop and menu navigation are all affected).

The video playback should be fine if you enable the pvr-350 hardware playback feature. Mythfronend's window size and position can be tweaked in the setup menus also.

There is no solution for the overscan on the Xserver desktop though. The only thing you could do is look up how to enter the engineering setup menu on your TV set and adjust the overscan there.

What about changing the output resolution on the X server to match the one of the MythTV GUI?

It's a lil annoying not being able to see the bottom of the screen on webpages, etc.

If you adjust the mythfrontend window as mentioned above then Mythbrowser will also be adjusted as well.

I switched to using Mozilla because every time I clicked on something like a mpg link, the raw data would display in the browser instead of launching xine or mplayer.
