I recently upgraded from R5A22 to R5B7 and seem to have broken mythweb in the process.

When I try to access it from firefox or IE, i get the response:

400
Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

I tried recreating my htdigest file.

I have the following lines in my /etc/apache/httpd.conf file:
AllowOverride All
AuthType Digest
AuthName "MythTV"
AuthDigestFile /var/www/htdigest
Require valid-user

Does anyone know why I could be getting this error?

Thanks

A few things to try ,

is the httpd running
can you connect on the mythtv box ( lynx http://localhost )
can you connect to the mythtweb over your network via ip
what address in the httpd bound to ( BindAddress * in /etc/apache/httpd.conf )
do you have some local dns isue if using system names ( nslookup )
what do you see in the logs ( tail -n 20 /var/log/apache/error.log )

OMG, i'm dumb.

I was using my old link to get to mythweb which was http://ip/mythweb

apparently with this version, you shouldn't be putting the word 'mythweb' onto the end of the ip

Thanks for your help!
