 Post subject: 250 no loop cable?

im coming from a 401 software card to a pvr250, I am used to the loop cable into the line in on the SB live card. My new 250 is working, but i have no sound, which is to be expected cause my caputer source is defaulted to line in?? what should it capture for a 250?
