Hi,

some problems/questions:

I´m not able to play Wonderboy I on my Pc running Mythtv. I have the correct roms installed, but Wonderboy isn`t shown in the selection list of Mythtv. If I use the roms with the Windows Mame version it works. Why is the rom not shown in the Mythtv selection list? The other roms (games) are shown correctly and they are playable.

In the xmame setup of Mythtv I have to set up the path to the cabinet files. What are the cabinet files? Do I need some top play Wonderboy?

I searched a lot, but I didn´t find a solution.

Thanks a lot

ce ya, Andre

The cabinet files are images of the arcade cabinets?

I think you may have a prroblem with your catver.ini file. Check it out to see that Wonderboy is in it.

And what are cabinet files??? Are they important? What can I do with them?

The problem wasn´t the catver.ini. I tried to start the game and the commandline, and I got the error that a rom file is missing.
I searched for the rom filename, found it and reziped wboyu.zip ( means i included the missing rom file I got out of the zip if pitfal II). And now it is working ;-).

I think they are just pictures of the actual acrade cabinet. They are not important, I don't know know why it's an option. I don't have them.

I use the screens to display screenshots in the menu.

Glad you got it working though.
