I've searched around and can't seem to find the answer to this one...

For some reason it seems like my video is 'zoomed in'. About an inch and a half or so is cut off on all sides. I thought installing the 4363 NVidia drivers and enabling overscan might solve it, but still no go (although now the picture takes up the full screen so that's cool!). I've played with aspect ratio and that doesn't seem to make a difference in the amount chopped off either. My system is as follows:

Athlon 1700+
WinTV Go (bt878)
NVidia MX 440 AGP
Generic sound card
512 MB RAM
40 GIG HD
KnoppMyth R4V4

Anyone have a clue on this one?
Thanks!
Dr. Gonz

sounds like you used the overscan too much. on my tv it uses 0.7 or so I think the sample config file has 0.8 just play with it.

Don't think it's an overscan problem... Even without overscan setup in the XF86Config-4 file it does this zoom in thing, but then I get a black border on the top and bottom.

then it sounds like overscan settings in the playback setup.

I'll look again tonight. I didn't see anything relating to overscan in the playback settings (changing the resolution didn't do what I wanted), but it highly possible I missed it while flipping screens.

Thanks!

You were right... it was in playback. :D Don't know how I missed it since I was in there looking several times. Not to mention how it got set at 10% in the first place.

Thanks!
Gonz
