Sounds like you wiped out your DB. Did you make a backup before you started? If not you're either out of luck or in for some pretty harcore hacking (as in generating SQL like nuvexport option 2 does to import the programs back into your DB).

If you ran mythbackup and have a pretty vanilla configuration you can always reinstall, restore from the backup (watch out for the timezone issue), and re-upgrade. This gets far more difficult if you're tweaked a lot of system config files, updated or added a lot of debs with "apt-get install", ...

Run mythtv-setup and make use you're path is acurate.

Setup actually scans for existing recordings? Presumbaly this means that there's more info hidden inside the NUV than just the MPEG stream? Cool!

so......
I checked every row of each table in my new mythconverg and all paths were correct. Running Mythtv-setup did not automagically add my old recordings back in to the db.
So I backed up my current 0.15 database,
dropped it,
restored my 0.14 database,
restarted mythbackend,
deleted the column from program table or where ever,
killed mythbackend,
ran mythtv-setup again, this time it upgraded my database without spitting out any errors at me.

At this point I had an upgraded 0.14 database, and a clean 0.15 database.

So I did a sql dump of the upgraded database, then ran
`more 14-to-15-mythconverg.sql | grep " recorded " > old-recordings.sql`

dropped the upgraded database, restored the clean 0.15 database, then imported the old-recordings.sql in to the new database and vwua-la!
I now have all of my old recordings back in the database and they run fine. :D

Now I just need to install the 0.15.1 debs, what is new in those anyways?
