the .nuv files are all still there, what's going on here ... I re-ran mythfilldatabase because my channel changer on Live TV was only showing "-0" as the channel and won't change form the default channel. Help! Where do I look to make sure the backend process is not doing something wacky. I've tried restarting the machine, and see some sort of error about /.qt but couldn't search for that on this phpbb search engine. where is the log so I can review the backend messages? |

hmm, well that fixed part of it, I get all of my recordings listed now when I go to watch recordings, but when I go to live tv, I still have -0 (the default channel) and I can't change channels. |

I'd suggest running mythtv-setup and dump db. Reconfigure and /etc/cron.daily/mythtv-backend. |

thanks for your help, I did some reconfiguring, messed up somewhere cause I tried to use the same name as the old input source, but when I tried it again with a new clean name and restarted everything, it eventually (after livetv crashing on me once, seemed to get back to normal except all my recording rules and priorities are gone now
