| Post subject: | DVD does not play |
When I try and play a DVD, nothing seems to happen. I could rip one, but when I go to the video section and try to play it, the same happens: nothing. I looked through this forum, but could not find anything... Anyone has had the same issue? Thanks! |

encrypted dvd's are not supported out of the box for legal reasons. If you want to play or rip encrypted dvd's (basically any comercial dvd) you will have to obtain and install decss. You can search these forums for some hints or search google for installing decss on debian. |
