I have been playing with Myth Archive (mytharchive) in R5E50. It is pretty amazing to me how well it works. It took me a little while to get used to navigating the menus, but not too long.
I found myself perplexed when I found certain recordings archived to DVD very easily and others would error out. I finally realized that a bad cutlist was the primary cause for most of my problems. When I saw that the same recording could easily be written to iso without the using the cutlist and not written using the cutlist, I knew that the cutlist must be bad. The recordings in question had overlapping cut points that must have confused mythtranscode or mythreplex. Deleting all cut points and resetting them solved the issue!
I thought I would share this with the group in case someone else has the same problem.
