After an earlier attempt that never really worked, we've recently moved to KnoppMyth, which has been much easier. We're using a Hauppage WinTVGo - and we can't make the audio work. In our earlier attempt audio _did_ work via patch cable and didn't work via btaudio. So now we're not even attempting btaudio - but no sound is coming out of the video capture card, and I believe this card to be working. This does not seem to be a soundcard problem - if I attach a microphone and a speaker to the sound card's inputs and outputs while watching live TV, I hear myself out the speakers. Conversely, if I attach speakers directly to the capture card, I don't hear anything. I have tried adjusting in Alsamixer - although many were originally muted, every possible setting in there that I can change is set to an intermediate volume now. Any help is appreciated. |
