I did something stupid and hosed my apps file for R5E50 by doing this
Code:
echo "[startup] {nvidia-settings -load_config_only}" > apps
instead of this
echo "[startup] {nvidia-settings -load_config_only}" >> apps

If you could post a clean apps file.
Thanks in advance

For future reference you can generally get lost files off of the CD by using it as a rescue disk. See the wiki for details or search the forums for "rescue".

Code:
root@black2:~# cat /home/mythtv/.fluxbox/apps
[startup] {xset -dpms s off}
[startup] {xvattr -a XV_COLORKEY -v 0}
[startup] {nvidia-settings --load-config-only}
[startup] {gnome-volume-manager}
[startup] {/usr/bin/x11vnc -nap -wait 50 -passwd mythtv -display :0 -forever -o /var/log/x11vnc.log -bg}
[startup] {KnoppMyth-run}
[startup] {launch_irx.sh}
[app] (SDL_App)
  [Layer]       {2}
  [Deco]        {NONE}
[end]

Thanks, I forgot about the cd rescue feature. Hopefully I won't have to use it.
