Has anyone else had problems playing DVDs in the Internal player? I've tried two different DVD players but every few second there's a slight stutter in the video. This is nonexistent in Xine, which works great, but I'd love to be able to use the Internal player as the menu options and volume control are so much better. DMA is on also, so I can rule out that. I'm beginning to think it's just a problem with the player itself.

The worst problems I've seen with it had to do with navigation. Try skipping forward or fast forwardings but be prepared to kill the frontend to get control back. I should probably try it with the most recent stuff on the -fixes branch to see if these problems still exist, but they were still there when I tested R5E50.

Yes, I've noticed this as well. I looked at the Release Notes on 0.21 here and the choppy playback is mentioned along with a little blurb that could be about the problems skipping. Hopefully this will be fixed soon because, aside from a few emulators not working, my MythTV is finally working almost perfectly.
