Hi,

First of all, since that's my first post here, I'd like to thank the maintainers of Knoppmyth for their work. Setting up a mythtv box is not an easy task, so being able to rely on a dedicated debian-based distro is of great help.

To get back to my issue: I installed the needed packages to be able to read my legally-bought, "copy-protected" DVDs. While menu navigation and content playing work fine, I see strange horizontal, rapidly-moving, 1-pixel high strips when reading a brand new one.

Is this a configuration issue (DMA or something similar)? That DVD bears an "anti-copy" logo, but reads fine (without those strips) on a playstation 2 or a laptop.

Thanks for any hint!
