So last night I was in the process of building some patches against v4l... when things became a little too messy, I had the brilliant idea of starting fresh and reinstalling the kernel source and headers package for the 2.6.18-chw kernel. After apt-get removing the headers package, I discovered a nifty little feature... I can't download the headers package to reinstall it.

Now I am a little stuck -- anyone happen to know where I can find the dpkg for the kernel headers for the 2.6.18-chw kernel? More importantly, does anyone know what is special about the -chw kernel? Can I just use the Debian kernel or the vanilla kernel and copy the kernel config from /boot/config-2.6.18-chw-13 to build a kernel?

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Use the CD as a rescue disk and copy the directory tree from the CD image. There should be a how to on the wiki...
