Just wondering if there is a way to add an "exit mythtv" option to the knoppmyth menu. I have changed the exit command from ESC since it is also the menu back key and I always end up at the confirm exit question. I tried using the ALT + ESC option, but that just disables the exit function all together. I cant find any info on the problem, any ideas? |

If you really want to kill mythfrontend with a menu option it should be simple. Have a look at /usr/share/mythtv for the knoppmyth.xml file. Add an xml menu item that will "EXEC killall mythfrontend". Basically, you'd be adding a method for the frontend to kill itself. Is that what you're after? Mike |
