I didn't choose folding@home during the initial install, though, now, looking at my computers usage, it appears I have tons of free cycles to donate to the project. How would I go about turning that on now after the fact and being part of the KnoppMyth team? |

I believe the command to be: Code: /etc/init.d/folding@home configure
Not sure if that has to be run as root or not... |

It worked, went through a work unit, and now I have a problem. In the log I keep getting [15:22:04] + 1208320 bytes downloaded [15:22:04] + 1218560 bytes downloaded [15:22:04] + 1228800 bytes downloaded [15:22:04] + 1239040 bytes downloaded [15:22:04] + 1241782 bytes downloaded [15:22:04] Verifying core Core_80.fah... [15:22:04] Signature is VALID [15:22:04] [15:22:04] Trying to unzip core FahCore_80.exe [15:22:04] - Couldn't open file FahCore_80.exe [15:22:04] + Error: Could not extract core [15:22:04] + Core download error (#12), waiting before retry... Is it because a FahCore_80.exe already exists from the first protein? What user should I have run "/etc/init.d/folding@home configure" as? I believe I did it as root. |

you can try restarting the folding by running Code: /etc/init.d/folding@home restart and if that doesn't work try deleting the offending file then restart it again.
