In the old version of KM I was using before the upgrade, pressing the "Guide" button while watching a DVD in Xine would bring up a menu allowing me to do things like change subtitles, audio channel, and aspect. I've been looking through lircrc and .xine/keymaps and I can't seem to find what that might be called, event wise. Was this a MythTV feature that was removed, or am I missing something?

It wouldn't be a MythTV feature unless one/both of the installs was using the Internal (Myth) DVD player instead of Xine...

Nope. I'm SURE it was Xine... blast... this remote stuff is the biggest pain (which is actually a good thing...)

Check that your xine configuration level (under the setup menu) is set high enough. It may be back to "Beginner" for some reason.

I get the feeling that might be the case, because the only thing under the DVD Setup menu is the devices and the command lines. Can't find where the configuration level is set in the setup though... Still going through all the items page by page.

It should be on the GUI tab (first one on the left) under Configuration Experience Level unless they've changed it it the newer version(s).
