First off I appologise if this is in the wrong place, I wasn't sure where to post it.

I am running 2 PVR-150's with analog cable, and a PVR-250 fed by S-video

Here is my issue, about a week ago the reception on both my 150's went to crap. There is not a signal problem, the picture is fine when I connect the cable directly to my TV. If I connect the coax cable to the 250 I get the same issue, the picture is perfect from S-video.

Here is the really odd part, if I switch the frequency type from ntsc to ntsc-jp the picture looks perfect, but all the channels are off by 2 (example ch52 tunes in ch54)

I am on charter cable in the st. louis metro area.

Any ideas??

Possible frequency standard change. My first move would be to call up the cable company and ask 'em. Next try the various options documented on the wiki here: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=BlackScreenWatchingTV With three possible options it's easy enough to check them all.

You nailed it, I have verified that they changed their standard from cable-hrc to standard. All is good again. Thanks.
