I just checked http://mysettopbox.tv/ for any updates on the release and it looks like Cecil is going to work for Microsoft: "... I got a call from Jeff yesterday and he has sweetened the deal. Not only will Microsoft double my income, I can work on KnoppMyth 30% of my time. In addition, I'll have full access to their hardware labs to test KnoppMyth. So, starting April 21st, I'll be a full time Microsoft employee." I guess we can all bag the next release. ftw? |

I didn't log in for a few weeks after that so I actually told my wife I didn't know what excuses I'd have in the future to mess up our KM box.

It is the 2nd of April here today and I read the front page and laughed, cried and thought Cecil was a sellout. Then I came across this post and thought, I am such an ID 10 T. Every year he cames out with a new one, I wonder how long it takes him to think of these things. Maybe this is the reason he wasn't working last week, taking time out to think of an April Fools. I suppose with the news that Cecil was joining M$ that is why there shares drop 95%

Drop? It's up over a point today... (about a 3.95% gain) http://finance.google.com/finance?client=ob&q=MSFT Although I didn't see anything about Cecil in the related news items.
