| Post subject: | Lost my mythbackup script binary |
Not sure at what point I managed to delete mythbackup (the script itself)... But I did. I was hoping not to have to install knoppmyth on a separate box just to get at the script, but I can't really run an upgrade to 5.5 until I can properly backup the box. Any idea how I might get a current copy of the script itself? thx |

For future reference the wiki also has directions for using the install disk as a rescue CD. http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=InstallDiskAsRescueCD Once you're running from the CD and have your HD root partition mounted as described there, you can get a fresh copy of any lost/deleted/damaged files from the CD image (which is where they come from during an install) onto your HD. |
