That did the trick bigB I poked around the scripts for a while and had an idea that that was the area to fix that....i just didn't know how, this is a way differant than the assembly code I used to do. I have your script on the cron job and realy don't recall when all went goofy, but when 700-800 videos (mostly TV shows) come up blank you do panic. LOL. Of corse you were correct on the releace ver. I went back to the beginning several times before asking for help, jsut to make shure it wasn't me....

Thanks again. Looking forward to this becomming a part of linhes when you beleave it's ready.

I've just added support for The Move Database. You will need to ensure the tmbd.pl script from mythtv is installed and functional.

working better everytime for me for pulling metadata, but unforuantely something wrong somewhere in my scripts because I still get the 400 message for downloading images for movies (not for tv)

Hi,

The block of log output prior to that error should list where the images are coming from, try doing a manual retrieve yourself and see what happens. it would also help if you could post the url of the poster here.

I'm getting a new issue with rev 71 where the following is inserted with the plot:

Plot: [x] Remove Ad

ie. the plot now has "[x] Remove Ad" added to the plot text

I just got it too after upgrading to Jaunty. Funny thing is I tried r63 and no problem with getting the poster.

I've renamed and rescanned my /myth/video folder several times and re ran the script.... looks like it fairly stable in the error.

awesome sauce bigB working good for images and such!

Got this error:

Unmatched ) in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/(^|\W)3) <-- HERE The HEALING begins NOW.avi(\W|$)/ at ./mythvideo-scanner.pl line 769.

Also I was using dot directories to hide videos from mythvideo. the scanner scans all directories hidden or otherwise. Maybe thats a future option to skip hidden dirs?

Hi all,
I have a bit of a problem with the grabbers: they all work fine (both ttvdb and tvrage, in my case), and all data gets filled out nicely - however, images get scraped from tvrage, not ttvdb, even though ttvdb is the first in the grabber list, and images are present on the site (I'm looking at the muppet show, s1).

Now, in my (quite limited) experience, this is a bad idea because images seem to be of a better quality on ttvdb then on tvrage (content/aspect ratio/presence varying randomly on the same show), but on a show like the muppets it becomes crucial - the episode list is NOT THE SAME on the two sites (tvrage seems to follow a less popular order), therefore completely wrong images get assigned the the shows correctly identified by ttvdb.

Am I doing something wrong, or is mythvideo-scanner currently grabbing images only from tvrage...? :? (I'm using the latest SVN downloaded right now)

Anyway, thank you bigB for this excellent tool I'm unable to do without (and your tireless support!), and Merry Christmas to everyone! :D

Script is working like a champ on the movies now..... Thanks bigB, Ill selfishly say keep up the great work... LOL

Harry Potter movies trip the 75% rule. don't see what more can be done for them. just the way the titles fall....
