I just started to get this errors when the backend tries to create an ipod compatible video: ffmpeg had critical errors: ffmpeg: unrecognized option '-flags' What went wrong ? i already remove and reinstalled ffmpeg with the same results.. help please.. |

Fixed.. edited: /usr/local/share/nuvexport/export/ffmpeg/MP4.pm and remove ' -flags +mv4+trell+loop' from the: $ffmpeg_xtra parameters Line: 240 |

Good to know. Anyone else have this issue? As I don't have an ipod, would you like to test R6 to ensure this works out the box? |

This turned out to be one of the problems I had after my adventures with getting nuvexport to work. I just removed the "+trell" part, leaving "+mv4+loop". I also had to remove "-aic 1" which I believe is on the next line of the same file, to get it to work. The good news is that it now works, and neither change seems to have affected the output... looks and sounds fine on my iPod 5th gen. |

I recently recompiled FFMPEG, version SVN-r19507 in an attempt to remedy this issue on R5.5 before I came across this fix. With this version, myth2ipod now throws the following error: ffmpeg: unrecognized option '-title' I Googled around and found this related forum post: http://www.kinodv.org/dcforum/dcforum?a ... ic_id=3526 According to one of the authors, it seems that the latest SVN of FFMPEG contains an (as of yet) undocumented change in options from -title to -metadata. Not sure how to adjust MP4.pm to correct for this. Luckily I still had the source from SVN-r16041 and that fixed myth2ipod with the help of these instructions. |
