Anyone know how the Intel grraphics processors do with MythTv?
They do very well. Of course, I'd not have an Atom doing the work w/ an Intel video chipset.

Cecil great choice on using Archlinux as a base for HES.. I've been an Arch freak for about 2 years now. Running it as my primary OS on my Laptop (HP 8510W) and my Home PC's. Arch is the dream distro... Before I upgraded to 5.5, I made a new MBE from Arch and used the version of Myth in community but it was pretty broken and required lots-o-love to get Mythweb usable. Long story short, I ended up compiling myth from SVN to get what I wanted.. I never could get it to be as stable as I liked though (didn't have the time to jack with it) and I went back to 5.5

Will your team begin maintaining a myth repository for Arch?

Hard to say at this point, but probably not... LinHES like KnoppMyth is meant to be used as appliance. As you stated, the Arch packages are in need of some love. Trying to keep up w/ packaging for Arch and working on LinHES at this point, would take too much time.
