| Post subject: | mythfilldatabase timing out |
I have an installation running R5F27. It has a PVR250 and has two schedulesdirect lineups. The lineups are a Comcast analog and a Dishnetwork. Comcast did not notify our area about analog going away yet. Zap2it has data for both lineups when I checked there. Last night I noticed that there was no more guide data. I opened xterm and ran mythfilldatabase and it times out on webservices.schedulesdirect.tmsdatadirect.com 206.18.98.175 I rebooted and tried again and got the same result. It has Internet connectivity because weather wwas able to get current data. My schedulesdirect account expires in October. I can log into it and see my lineups. Any suggestions appreciated. |

Apparantly there was some strange connectivity issue. I could traceroute to the tmsdirect server but mythfilldatabase would just hang. I rebooted both the Myth box and the router again and mythfilldatabase ran sucessfully. It didn't populate one of my lineups but a ---force -update fixed everything. |

My guess is that was something with your router or maybe on your ISP's DNS end. |
