My backend has been locking up because my mythfrontend log is filling up with the following error: Code: NVP: Prebuffer wait timed out 10 times.
Since this is a backend only, I figured I would just disable the frontend from starting on boot instead of trying to track down the cause of this error. I seem to recall that if I just comment out the {KnoppMyth-run} line from /myth/.fluxbox/apps that the backend wouldn't start automatically... How do I disable just the frontend from starting? I'm still running R5F27. |

Thanks for the suggestion. I was wrong in my first post, though, I commented out the {KnoppMyth-run} line and the backend is starting without the frontend. I'll come back to this note if I have issues in the future, or if I want to free up system resources. There really is no reason to be running X on a headless backend... |
