Ok so I got everything installed and flowing cool. And I went to watch TV and all my channels were gone! Eventually I found a public access channel. I plugged the coaxial cable back into the TV and voila my channels are back. So my question is will my PVR-350 not pickup my cable's signal? I'm using Insight Cable. The problem is the cable guy called me and said he was too lazy to put a filter on (i'm a poor college student). So I have basic cable. So to flesh out my question does it seem my cable company has switched to digital leaving me out in the analog cold?

Ryan

Truly "basic" service (which usually consists of OTA channels, public, government and educational access, and CSPAN) is required to work without a cable box and be analog. If you can view channels on your TV without a cable box (coaxial plugged directly from wall into your TV) and your TV does not have a QAM tuner, this means your service is analog, and should work fine with your PVR-350.

You might want to try deleting and re-creating your video sources, fetching the listings again, etc.

Do you know where I could find out if it has that? I looked and the cable company has it listed as "standard" not digital.
