| Post subject: | MythTV 0.22 Themes |
Does anyone have a Theme for MythTV 0.22 that they really like? I'm kind of disappointed with what's available. Terra is okay, but I'm not big on the brown color, the icons are not that great, and the background images (new feature in 0.22) are obscured... I tried Abstract Blue, but it just feels "half-assed". If I had an ounce of artistic talent in my body I'd make my own theme... I was really excited about Arclight, but it's been pushed back to 0.23... |

Check out the Graphite theme. I'm not running 0.22 yet but from my "Google Research" it appears to be the front runner. |

I don't like any of the new themes either. From the screen shots posted, Arclight does look promising. Hopefully the theme competition will yield something good. http://www.mythtv.org/theming-competition |

@martian graphite is a ui mess. It doesn’t look bad artistically but it is definitely not a good ui design... @nharris yeah, I saw that post on the mythtv website. I have my hopes up, but who know when we'll start seeing new themes... @iscraigh I didn't realize that mythbuntu was a 0.22 capable theme. I'll have to give it a try and see what the wife thinks... |

I am liking Mythbuntu theme the best so far. It is, however, far from perfect. I have a few tweaks I'd like to do, but I think I'll wait until I see what comes of the MythTV theme contest. |

Resurrecting an old thread here... So now that 0.23 is out what are the favorite themes? Looks like Graphite, Arclight, Mythbuntu, Blue Abstract, Metallurgy, and Terra are the main contenders. Would be interested in hearing what others favorites are and what if any tweaks you have done. Martian |
