Post subject:  sound and video issues

I just installed knoppmyth and it seems to have gone pretty well with two minor problems. 1st one being the sound, I'm using onboard sound on a DFI km400 mobo. According to the manual it has realtek 6 channel codec,ac'97 2.2 extension compliant codec, ac'97 supported full duplex independant sample rate converter for audio recording and playback. The sound works but has to be turned up to 100% on both the tv and mythtv so it can be heard at a reasonable level. I have a wintv 401 and am using the patch cable connected to line in. 2nd problem is video related, I'm using a g4 mx 440 tv out connected to a phillips tv. the sides of the picture are pulled in just enough to make it annoying. I did install-nvidia.sh during installation and wanted to try the new nvidia drivers to see if anything would change but i don't know how to download them. please be specific as I don't know anything about linux.

These aren't issue related to installation. Are both PCM and Master turned up? Overscan is the issue with your video card... Perhaps a search of the forum.
