I backed up my entire cd collection and copied it to my mythbox. In a side note, it was depressing how many tracks i had to skip from scratches... but aside from that i noticed that it sounded pretty good.. but during loud heavyier rock type music it would destort to totaly unlistenable. I always thought it only happened in mythmusic.. I have never heard it on TV..or mythVideo.. but i finaly watched a DVD using Xine( THE BEST DVD PLAYER) and durring a loud part of the movie.. it did EXACTLY the same destortion. I am using a SB live 5.1 This problem has been with me since my first install (20 hundred installs ago ) I have had losts of different mobo combinations. but my SB has stuck with me. Any ideas.. im ready to just get another card. IF i do that is there a card with optical audio onboard??
