|Post subject:||db mismatch SOLVED!|
My R6 (well updated) test frontend somehow seems to have connected to my R5.5 "production" backend and updated it. Now my R5.5 "production" frontends can no longer connect to it.
What to do?
I have nightly scheduled db backups.
Thanks for any advice,
P.S. I think the "somehow" may be that I changed the localhost setting to the DNS name and the DNS was pointing to an invalid address (nobody home). uPnP probably found the "production" backend instead and that was it.

Piece of cake:
# mysql mythconverg <mythbe_3.sql
restored tha database to the state of this morning thanks to automated backups that once again saved my err.. -day.
But overwriting your database is really nervous stuff - I'm all shaking, still!
