I hope this goes here. My logic is that I have screwed up my installation. But if this is in the wrong place please let me know and I will move it :?

In the process of attempting to get some very non-linux friendly hardware to work I seem to have deleted the file from /etc/init.d (and its symlink in rc3.d) that starts mythbackend. As a result I have to stop the front end, start the backend from a console and restart the frontend. Very problematic especially if power forces a reboot and I am not home.

Is there a copy of this file somewhere in the distro that I can find and copy?

Also congrats to CESMAN and everyone else who helps on a great product... I haven't had this much fun since I quit coding on punch cards and got to use a line editor....

Cesman has posted direction for how to get this of the distro image in the recent past. Search for articles by "cesman" with the search terms "boot" and "mount".

Found it. Thanks I'll try it tonight. Also will try more searches next time.
Didn't even come close to trying 'boot' and 'mount'
