I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but when I run either the snes or nes enulator they appear in a little box and I can't make it go fullscreen.

I have reasearched this issue and it seems like the fix is rrelated to fvwm itself. For example, I ran snes9x by itself in an xterm inside fvwm and it spits out a message "fullscreen: permision denied". I was thinking there might be a way to edit the /home/mythtv/.fvwm2rc file and set "Style snes9x maximize", but that doesn't work. However it seems like there is a solution, I just can't find it :?

this goes for fecu-sdl (the nes emulator) as well and both apps also lose focus when I start them...

Thoughts and ideas are very appreciated,
Alex

I have been researching the same issue here also. There are settings avaible for snes9x to do full screen, unfortanately they don't seem to work with the current window manager settings. You can access default settings for snes by going to Games-->SNES and pressing the "e" key. Setting the fullscreen option did not make a difference for me but somehow I got the window large enough to play, just can't remember how I did it.

I just dabble in linux and don't know where to start for a solution but there is some discussions relating to the fullscreen issues in mythgame over in the MythTV-dev and MythTV-user mailing list archives at www.mythtv.org.
