Samba is not included with Knopmyth by default.

You need to install samba:

apt-get install samba

and you will need to configure samba. Configuration will also need to be done for each of the directories, or folders you want to share.

If you have a share on another box that you want to mount to your knopmyth box, say for your music files, you will need to also install the samba-client software (like above) then use the command 'smbmount //server/share /path/to/mount/point' to mount it properly. There are flags you can use to include the userid and password to use to access the share, which I don't recall, so you can automate the mounting procedure when you need to reboot.

Samba is included. It is just not configured or started by default.
