KnoppMyth is *Excellent* How about a script on startup that tries a mount on a usb memory stick, and looks for a dir containing a script of a specific name, and runs it when booting a front-end from the CD?? IMHO this would give a flexible knoppmyth install from CD that would not need new CD's burning etc every time a config is changed, we could also put the myth binaries/libs on there too as well to allow people to update/change their configs while still using the same boot CD on their front-end? That way we get some persistent storage of configs like the IP for the back-end system as well? Mart. |
