* CASE, $90, Enermax HTPC-100B Micro-ATX http://www.xpcgear.com/emhtpc100b.html
* Motherboard: $53, Asus P5PE-VM http://www.xpcgear.com/asusp5pevm.html
* Processor: $200, Pentium D 945 3.4GHz dual core
* RAM: $76 ( 2X$38 ), Kingston KVR400X64C3A/256 256MB DDR400 http://www.xpcgear.com/25kin400cl25.html
* Tuner Card: $129, pcHDTV-3000, http://www.pchdtv.com/
* Graphics: $20, ebay, nVidia Geforce 5200 AGP 8X TV Out, DVI Out

* IR Receiver: $40 http://www.streamzap.com/
* RF Amplifier: $30.
* Hacking MythTV: $30.

So why am I selling? I've upgraded to Comcast cable HD during the process of building this and the Comcast STB doesn't have firewire output to connect to my Myth PC. So, I can't record subscription content and I've decided to switch to Tivo... This has all happened over the course of the past month. I simply can't justify keeping both the TivoHD and an OTA MythTV PC.

But, knoppmyth manages to deal with all the above hardware perfectly and there is plenty of upgrade-ability in the box. Two free PCI slots and an empty 3.5" bay. I really like the case. Lots of good stuff on the front and a perfect size and looks for in the living room. I didn't get all the LCD stuff to work but the two tmperature sensors work. The motherboard was a really good price for all the stuff it has. Only thing missing was firewire. The whole thing is plenty quiet enough for the living room, behind a glass door but not quiet enough for the bedroom out in the open.

Unfortunately for me, I bit off more than I can chew and it's now on ebay... :( And I'm a LOT lighter in the wallet getting all the Tivo stuff...
