Purchaed at Walmart for $30: worked out of the box on LH 7.2.

I like this keyboard because it has a built in touchpad and is compact yet, not too small like my Lenovo wireless KB.

Can also be repurposed for a Windows box and works with no fussing. Quick and easy... if only dating was this simple!

Update: On sale $25 shipped per techbargains.com http://www.techbargains.com/news_displayItem.cfm/327373

I've recently bought this keyboard with touchpad too. (Partly because I found this post stating it works out of the box on R7.2)
It indeed works out of the box, also on R7.4.
I fully agree with gatorback, it's a nice keyboard. I especially like the left mouse button on the top left site of the keyboard.

Very nice Logitech quality for a very nice price.

Hi Gatorback,

Why say thanks, did you buy one?

I'm afraid it's very off-topic but: yes there is, look here: http://code.google.com/p/tvgrabnlpy/
(Are you Dutch then?)

A couple things worth noting for folks using a wireless keyboard that may save you some grief.

While most of these don't need line of sight like an IR keyboard, they usually don't work very well if you put the RF adapter on the back of the machine or behind anything metallic. ;-)

Also, if you use a hub with an extension cable to avoid the "metal blocking the RF path" problem you may find that the BIOS won't see the keyboard.

Indeed! I solved this issue by adding a short extension cable connected directly to the box to have the usb dongle either on the top or on the side of the box to improve reception. I use a different RF keyboard, but same issue.

Cheers,
/Chris

I picked up a Logitech K400 keyboard a while back and yesterday was the first time I ever tired it and here are the highlights.

1.) Size wise it's small but the keys are a good size
2.) Good Value for the price ($25)
3.) It has an on and off button to conserve battery power.
4.) The usb adapter works good on the front usb port of a PC
5.) With this keyboard I was able to install a Linhes 8.1 FE sitting on my couch :D

this is the best media center keyboard out there, well if the keys were illuminated it would be even better. My daughter spilled apple juice on the keyboard last week and I started to seriously consider buying a few more for the day that Logitech stops making them.

I have had one of these keyboards for sometime now too and they are fantastic. Range is awesome with the dongle on a front USB port behind a Sliverstone metal flap, so I like it.
