My MythTV setup is pretty much done!

Specs are:
KnoppMyth v4.4
Gigabyte NForce2 board
Athlon 2400+
256Meg DDR (will be 512 eventually)
200 Gig Maxtor
NVidia MX4000
3x Hauppauge PVR-250s (all same rev (1.4))
3x Xbox FrontEnds

Previous iterations of this project involved multiple bt878 cards and trying to use the NVidia card for TV out. I scrapped the whole project and started over with the above hardware. Soon I'm going to put it in my rack downstairs and get it out of my office. BTW, the Xbox makes an awesome frontend. I highly recommend it.

The only caveat is I'd like to put two more tuners in, but I don't feel comfortable putting them in adjacent slots. I think heat would start to be a problem. Right now it goes:

Slot1: PVR-250
Slot2: empty
Slot3: PVR-250
Slot4: empty
Slot5: PVR-250

I guess I'll just build a slave box with 3 more if I need them. :D

Heheh... suprisingly enough, I'm already running into the limitations of the 3 250s. Last night the wife was recording two shows and I was recording another. Had either one of us wanted to watch anything other than previously recorded programs we'd be back to the old school tv tuners. :cry:

Oh well, have to start thinking about the future I guess.
