I'm a Linux noob and I've managed to get 2 different copies running on 2 semi different systems.
Shuttle SN45G (nforce 2), GeForce 4, Hauppauge 350
A7N8X Deluxe Rev. 2.0 and the same hardware as in the Shuttle.

Both installed and ran just fine- however my linux noobness has made it hard to get the silver remote that came with the 350 working (at all) and then I'll tackle the tv out thing (it sits on my desk until I can get this all working). I just learned about tarballs this morning and I installed Lirc 0.7.0 and did the whole configure routine (I'm not sure if I screwed that up) and it didn't work- but I am hunting down the solution to these problems myself and will eventually get it. But it installed an ran just fine, I can watch and record tv. I've just stuck to windows-like distros until now just because I was too chicken to really try and dig-in but now the time has come.
