First time attempt... Asrock K7541GX mobo WinTV-PVR150 512M Ram Sis Chipset w/ onboard VGA Using KnoppMyth R5A30.1 After burning the ISO onto a CD ... Booted the CD, did the install, registered with DataDirect,... Disconnected my Tivo, plugged into the KnoppMyth Box...BINGO. Answered the configuration prompts and I was up and running. The TV out image was a little "sluggish" ( dropped frames???) because of the poor video out. Went out to Circuit City and bought a nVidia e-GeForce MX4000 w/ S-Video out Plugged it in.... renamed the XF86Config-4.nvidia_tvout.sample file to XF86Config.4. Rebooted.... BINGO. Video looks good. I'll be adding a second tuner next month. Great job KnoppMyth Gods whereever you are. How do I cancel my Tivo? |
