I'm in the process of building a basic all in one system for a neighbour. What I'd like to do is buy an off the shelf base system from an HP, Dell or the like and toss in a PVR 150 and an Nvidia out card. A few questions for the Tier 1 crowd. Does the PVR 150 remote work out of the box on R5.30.2? Dos it matter if the NVidia card is AGP or PCIe? Does anyone have any suggestions on a good base system with a nice large drive to start off with? The base processor and memory specs are so good now, and most systems include DVDs that it seems to just be a matter of finding a 160GB or larger drive? If the drive is SATA how complicated is the install? Thanks! -Jeff |
