A hassle free combo: Asus A8N-E (nForce 4) Athlon64 XP 3000+(venice 90nm) Asus GeForce 6600 256MB Silencer Series fanless Twinhan DVB-T Pci card (with a crap antenna...) 2x256MB TwinMos DDR3200 NEC ND-3550 DVD+R/+RW/DVD-R/-RW (Dual layer) Arctic Cooling Silentium T3 Case with built-in powersupply Arctic Cooling Freezer64 cpu fan ...and finally, Knoppmyth R5B7. Everything worked right out of the box and with no tweaking exept to set monitor resolution to match my projector in XFree86.conf, and to set samba to start on boot. The rest is, thanks to Cecil and Dale et all, taken care of. Thanks guys! |
