Almost perfect only tv_grab_fr did not work and I had to setup TV frequencies manually, was fixed by upgrading xmltv (a bit painfull as several perl modules nedd upgrade to do this). Hardware: P733 RAM 256 MO HD 300 GB TV Card hauppauge winTV PVR-350 model 992 5GB / root partition 1 GB swap the rest, /film partition setup to store films. Formated XFS if I recall correctly. I had to setup channels manually (I am on cable UPC network, only receiving basic channels) with following frequencies (zip code FR 77176) TF1 679310 france2 695310 france3 559180 canalplus 711250 arte 535250 M6 735310 And it worked fine. I can now switch channels without going to the command line (this I could not achieve in previous knoppmythtv versions) I had to upgrade xmltv for tv_grab_fr to work and be able to grab channels. But after upgrade, it works fine. Once xmltv is upgraded, nedd to go back to reassociate channels frequencies with the channels found by the grabber. Updated the mythfilldatabase call definition with parameters: from original parameters: --quiet to modified parameters: --quiet --graboptions "--slow" This to grab the detailled description of programs.
