Well the card is detect, the tuner type is wrong which results in an unstable system(this is an older card, newer Pinnacle Micro cards may not have this problem). To correct this, I have a file in /etc/modutils/ named bttv which contains: Code: alias char-major-89 i2c-dev
options i2c-core i2c_debug=1 options i2c-algo-bit bit_test=1 alias char-major-81 videodev alias char-major-81-0 bttv debug=2 options bttv card=39 pll=1 tuner=8 If you have problems with stabilty or your card just won't work(and you know it is support under Linux) take a look at: /usr/src/linux/Documentation/video4linux/bttv/CARDLIST Replace card=39 and tuner=8 in the above to what CARDLIST states. |

You need to untar the kernel source and symlink to /usr/src/linux. |
