im in mythvideo and whenever i go to play a video it takes me to a screen with details about the video and when i hit enter nother happens |

run mythfrontend from an xterm and then exit back out of mythtv after a video has failed and see what errors are in the xterm. |

Check your mplayer path in "Utilities / Setup\Setup\Media Setting\Video Settings\Player Settings" and make sure it's /usr/bin/mplayer and NOT /usr/local/bin/mplayer. -Moat |

ok that fixed the problem but now ive got a new one "it seems there is no Xvideo supper for your video card available" i have a nvidea geforce 2 gts 32mb, hooked up to my monitor so i ran xvinfo and it says no adapters present sorry i accdentley double posted |

actually you need to start a new thread for this. the first one never should have been posted in this section. tier 2 is for working hardware that you just had to edit a few things. |

Even if we did we won't discuss it here. The only follow up on off topic posts is "You're off topic - this will most likely be deleted when Cecil sees it." Get the picture? In case it's not clear, the issue is - why should we waste time on s thread that won't be useful to anyone after that? |
