PIII 500 256 ram Matrox G200 video card (no TV out, PVR-350 on order) PVR-250 (rev 2 oem, I believe. Heat sink on chip). SB Live I chose Auto install. As long as I used a full domain type name for the box name it installed just fine. (mythbox.mydomain.com instead of just mythbox). I had no channels. Opened up an xterm window apt-get update apt-get install xmltv I now had channels but no sound. rmmod ivtv rmmod tuner insmod tuner type=2 insmod ivtv I now have sound and channels and everything "appears" to be working. I haven't had a chance to test everything indepth. Thanks Malcolm PS - is that the type feed back you're looking for? If there's any addional info I can give just ask. |

Thanks Malcolm, Yes this is the type of feedback. However this should all work out the box other than updating xmltv. |
