R5A26 Cheap Build from Newegg just for this purpose: Aspire X-Dreamer II Case (big and ugly, but works good cools well) Link ASRock P4v88 Link Intel Celeron D 320 Prescott 2.4GHz Link 1 Gig Corsair Value Select Memory 160 Gig Western Digital HD ATI 9200 PVR-150 w/ Silver Remote Hauppauge WinTV-GO Had problems with laggy TV and Recordings and thought it was the PVR-150, but it ended up being the ATI vidcard, which I should have known but couldn't see the forest from the trees for a few weeks. I followed This Tweak and now it all works fine. Also, the silver remote worked right out of the box, but then it quit working after a reboot when I relocated the box to the livingroom and out of the garage. However, I read somewhere to try rebooting a few times, and what do you know? it worked!!! Not a problem out of it since. I love it! Thanks to the developers and all of you who post on this forum to lead us newbies along the way! Now I can finally start tweaking the small things and play around with it...thats the best part of any project to me!!! |
